Write your own destiny

(with a little help)

You are looking to grow or begin your creative business, but quickly you'll find you are working as the Marketer, the Customer Service Rep, the Financial Advisor, the Legal Team, the Shipping and Receiving, even the Janitor….you are wearing all of the hats.

As a supportive group of like minded people, we provide you with the ideas and tips to go from overwhelmed to organized – one optional step at a time.

Learning with the CEOS

Our mission is supporting artisans and makers who desire to sell and promote their handmade work by offering education, workshops and resources to members on business practices, and promotion of their work. We work on that through the CEOS: Creativity, Education, Opportunity and Support.

A one-year membership to Makers Together® is $99 for solo-preneurs or $149 for partner businesses is due once juried in as a member. This includes:

  • virtual co-working twice weekly,

  • virtual membership meetings weekly,

  • monthly in-person Meet & Greet at rotating locations in Northeastern Wisconsin's Fox Valley Area

  • a small community of creative business people who are also deciding how they want to grow their promotion and sales,

  • opportunities to promote your work through Makers Together's social media pages.

CREATIVITY

We believe creativity inspires creativity, so we welcome discussion and feedback among members about their work and business questions.

EDUCATION

Teaching simple business concepts to help members succeed is what we've been doing since the very beginning.

OPPORTUNITY

Providing resources and chances to mingle within local creative community members brings new ideas and new topics to explore

SUPPORT

We do our best to produce a safe space for members to ask questions and share their knowledge in the group, while expecting them to set their goals and work at their own pace.

A "maker" creates a handmade product (often producing multiple of the same item) using legally licensed pre-designed templates, software or images, and frequently using machines such as home-based CNC machines more than hand tools or hand finishing techniques.
